This morning, we were awoken by our alarm system sounding because of a fire; our water heater was in the middle of an electrical fire. None of the self installed smoke detectors in our home sounded, and we are not positive that we would have heard them from the basement if they had.

Because of your fire system, we were able to wake up, and get the fire department to our home prior to it spreading. We have no structural or cosmetic damage apart from the water heater, and couldn't be more thankful for our alarm system! (Being 6 months pregnant, this also saved me from inhaling too much smoke!)
