Why Choose Monitored Business Fire Alarms In Indianapolis?

A commercial monitored fire alarm system can protect your Indianapolis business from a fire emergency far better than conventional smoke detectors. Here’s what you’ll get:

Smoke Detector

Provides life-saving warnings and alerts the fire department immediately. With enhanced optical sensing chambers engineered to sense smoke produced by a wide range of combustion sources in accordance with more stringent code standards. Photoelectric smoke detector that also offers 135°F fixed temperature thermal sensing.

Heat Detector

Used in harsh environments such as mechanical rooms and warehouses. Models include the fixed, rate-of-rise, and high temperature heat detectors. Fixed temperature model is factory preset to 135°F, rate-of-rise model is 15°F per minute and the high-temperature model factory preset to 190°F.

Carbon Monoxide / Smoke Detector

World-class fire and carbon monoxide (CO) detection combined in a single device provides a practical and reliable solution for today’s market. For fire, the detector combines four separate sensing elements in one unit (smoke, CO, light/flame, and heat) to sense multiple components of a fire. For CO, the detector’s electrochemical sensing cell creates a separate signal for life safety CO detection.

CO is a colorless, odorless, and deadly gas that is virtually impossible to detect with the human senses. It is released whenever carbon-based fuels burn without enough oxygen to form CO2. Because the potential exists for dangerous levels of CO to accumulate in almost any building, legislation mandating the use of CO detection in commercial spaces continues to increase across the U.S.

Pull Station

A fire alarm pull station is a fire protection device, wall-mounted, that, when activated, initiates an alarm on a fire alarm system. These devices are installed by every individual exit. In its simplest form, the user activates the alarm by pulling the handle down, which completes a circuit and locks the handle in the activated position, sending an alarm to the fire alarm control panel. After operation, most fire alarm pull stations must be restored to the ready position using a special tool or key in order for the panel to be reset.

Horn Strobe

Sounds off and flashes to notify occupants to evacuate the building. Used for full building notification, they produce a loud sound to notify occupants to evacuate the building while the strobe is intended to notify those that may be hearing impaired. With 7 field-selectable candela settings for wall and ceiling mount devices, and rotary switches to select horn tone and volume settings.

Strobe

Fire alarm strobes provide synchronized flashes for visual alert to all but very beneficial for the hearing-impaired occupants to evacuate the premises. Typically installed on the walls or ceilings, each strobe device has a candela rating, which is a base unit of luminous intensity. The higher the candela rating of a strobe, the larger its coverage area.

Dual Path Communicator

Takeover Existing Fire Alarms with ease by using a Honeywell dual path communicator that will work with any fire alarm control panel with built-in dialers. Offers contact ID reporting with any fire alarm control panel (FACP) with a built in dialer. These easy to install communicators offer three selectable reporting paths which include LTE Cellular only, IP only, or IP primary/LTE cellular backup. Eliminates the need and cost of two dedicated phone lines. Also includes primary power and battery supervison

Communication Paths

Communication paths are used for signal forwarding so the monitoring station can respond properly to the fire alarms received. The dual-path communicators that report over Ethernet and cellular paths are perfect for monitoring fire alarm systems.

UL approved dual technology fire alarm communicators offer contact ID reporting with select Honeywell control panels. They offer three selectable reporting paths which include: cellular only, IP only, or IP primary/cellular backup. It uses transmission via Contact ID for routing the signals to the central station receiver.
